About Chance Carmosino

As a young boy, I had a passion for “fixing things” and ironically, my idea of “fixing things” was deconstructing my favorite toys with whatever means available…like a large rock or hammer. I possessed inherent curiosity about the parts which my toys consisted and I wanted to take them apart, analyze, rebuild, and improve them. As I got older, my toys became more complex: Hotwheels cars became LEGO cars, LEGO cars became scaled models, and models became scaled RC cars and trucks. I loved tinkering, experimenting, evaluating, and enhancing the performance of RC cars and trucks. As I aged, my toys (and choice of tools) changed but my interests and curiosity prevailed. I realized my mechanical inclination coupled with my passion for experimentation and creative improvement would be advantageous in the field of engineering. So, at a fairly young age, I had decided to pursue an engineering career and I’ve devoted myself to achieving this goal. I have surmounted countless obstacles armed with unwavering determination, perseverance, and tenacity. I have faced my fair share of adversity and transformed those hardships into strengths, fueling my motivation, and exploiting opportunities for personal development. After graduating from High School in Roswell, New Mexico, I made the move to Gainesville, Florida where I started my college education and decided to get a job in the automotive industry to expand my knowledge in that area of interest. I started out as a delivery driver and quickly made many connections with people all over our servicing area and was promoted twice within a few short years. My automotive knowledge and management skills blossomed.As of December 2018, I have earned a bachelors degree in mechanical engineering at UCF. Although I am proud, I recognize that this is merely the beginning of a path with new, exciting, and increasingly complex challenges and here, upon a solid foundation I stand, prepared, steadfast, and well equipped to vanquish them.
