ABOUT CHANAKSHA G

Rocket Scientist turned MBA candidate with a passion for combining technical expertise with business strategy. With a strong foundation in Aerospace Engineering from the Indian Institute of Space Science & Technology, I spent nearly seven years at the Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO), where I contributed to India’s most significant space missions, including its first human space flight project and over 35 rocket launches. My role involved leading the design and production of cutting-edge aerospace hardware, where I honed my skills in product management, strategic planning, and human-centered design. Currently, I am pursuing a joint MBA and MS in Design Innovation at Northwestern University’s Kellogg School of Management and McCormick School of Engineering. My focus on Finance and Operations is equipping me with the strategic acumen needed to drive innovation in technology-driven industries, bridging the gap between engineering and business. Beyond my professional and academic pursuits, I bring a unique perspective shaped by my experiences as a certified mountaineer and trained musician. These diverse interests have instilled in me a blend of creativity, precision, and resilience, qualities that I apply to all my professional endeavors.
