Unexpected. Unpredictable. Unbelievable.That\'s how I\'d describe my journey towards marketing as a career.Starting out in the workforce as a regular ed teacher, never would I have predicted that I\'d be marketing ABA therapy for a living and loving every minute of it! But when a major medical crisis hit my family unexpectedly, I became completely immersed in a world of pediatric oncologists, outpatient rehab, and special education. This opened my eyes to the realities a family faces when raising a child with medical issues, physical handicaps, and cognitive disabilities. And once our crisis passed, my stage was set to dive into the world of the autism parent. As a marketing strategist for a national ABA agency, I am able to make quality care accessible to more people who need services. That I get to help more children and parents find help and hope for brighter futures is an unbelievable way for me to pay it all forward.
