ABOUT MICHAEL CHAMBERLAIN

Michael was an active member of the Racquet Club\'s Junior Academy program (19••••98). In 1997, while living abroad in Australia, Michael won the Australian High School Championships. He went on to play collegiately at Middle Tennessee State University and finished his career at the University of Memphis While playing in college, Michael was named All-Conference and each year at the University of Memphis was named the team\'s Most Valuable Player. In 2001, he was Conference USA\'s Sportsmanship Recipient. During his college career, Michael also spent some time instructing and coaching. He was a volunteer tennis instructor for the Special Olympics Tennis Team for Memphis, and was the assistant tennis instructor and junior academy coach at The Racquet Club of Memphis from Michael joined the Racquet Club\'s tennis professional staff in 2002 after graduating from the University of Memphis with a degree in Finance. In 2005 he earned his MBA from the University of Memphis and became a franchise owner and operator of Budget Blinds from 20••••09. Michael was also the Ball Person Coordinator for the professional tennis Tournament in Memphis 20••••06 and 20••••10 and the Players Service Manager 2011-present. Michael serves as the Director of Tennis at the Racquet Club, and continues to coach numerous juniors, college tennis players, and WTA touring professionals Ashley Murdock and Courtney Collins.
