Duties and Responsibilities:• Performs structural analysis of composite and metallic aircraft structures using the classical structural analysis and FEA tools (MSc Patran and Nastran, HyperMesh).• Generates comprehensive structural analysis reports to support aircraft certification.• Provides stress analysis support for flight test requests and production nonconformities.• Conducts material coupon and component qualification tests in compliance with aerospace and industrial standards. • Develops mechanical test plans and reports in accordance with ASTM and other aerospace standards. Projects:• Dornier Seastar – Multipurpose Composite Amphibious Aircraft – Horizontal Stabiliser, Air Chambers (Metallic and Composites).Accomplishments:• Provided stress support to redesign the engine air chambers to achieve the required strength and durability requirements while optimising the weight.
