ABOUT CHALITA THOMAS
As a Behavioral Health Case Manager, Licensed Professional Counselor, and Clinical Supervisor, I bring over 20 years of experience that consists of managing a caseload of more than 150+ individuals with Serious Mental Illness (SMI). My work includes conducting comprehensive assessments, formulating diagnoses, developing safety and treatment plans, and providing prevention, outpatient therapy, and case management services to adults with mental health and co-occurring substance use disorders. In addition to my clinical practice, I serve as the CEO of Mindset Manifestation LLC, where I oversee daily operations, improve organizational efficiency, and manage budgets, accounts, and expenditures. I take pride in training and motivating employees/contractors to deliver high-quality services and achieve company goals. As a subject matter expert, I also collaborate with researchers to provide professional insights and evidence-based perspectives within the behavioral health field. I am currently pursuing a Doctor of Philosophy in Health Sciences with a concentration in Trauma-Informed Care at Liberty University. I hold a master’s degree in professional counseling from Liberty University and a master’s degree from North Carolina Central University in Criminal Justice. Along with a bachelor’s degree in Sociology from North Carolina Central University. I am deeply passionate about empowering individuals to achieve their mental health and wellness goals and helping organizations build compassionate, effective systems of care.
