ABOUT CHAKYIA LEE

I’m an J.D. candidate at The George Washington University School of Law with a strong foundation in business operations, compliance, and strategic growth. I’m passionate about pursuing a career in Big Law, particularly in corporate, regulatory, or compliance-focused practice areas where I can combine legal knowledge with hands-on business experience. I have served as the Operations & Marketing Coordinator for C.K. Transports, a non-emergency medical transportation business based in Virginia. I manage core operations including document control, contract management, and regulatory compliance. I also lead all marketing and branding efforts, including designing our website and managing social media to drive visibility and client engagement. In addition, I work as a Short-Term Rental Manager with C.K. Professional Group, overseeing the full operational lifecycle of two Airbnb properties—handling guest communications, pricing strategy, and financial reporting to ensure profitability and a seamless guest experience. I’m also the founder of BrandedByKyia, a consulting business that supports small business owners in streamlining their operations, organizing their finances, and building sustainable structures for growth. Through this work, I’ve become deeply familiar with the real-life challenges small businesses face and the strategic mindset required to overcome them. Graduating summa cum laude with a degree in Business Administration, strong leadership experience, and a track record of driving operational excellence, I’m now stepping into law with confidence and clarity. I’m looking to connect with professionals in the legal, compliance, and business law space, and excited to begin contributing from day one.
