About Chaka S. Hester
Chaka Nwasike is a highly knowledgeable and reliable Risk/Security Information professional and Operations Leader with great experience creating strategies that drive profitable growth through reporting & data analysis. She joined Gallagher as their Operations Director in National Risk Control. She\'s previously worked for Marsh Risk Innovation and Quantification, Adecco Group NA, and Elite Parking Services of America (EPS). Prior to her time at EPS, Chaka was an Analyst for Regency Centers\' Risk Management department. She partnered with the IT Department and other Regency departments to organize the sharing of information, implemented two Risk Management Information Systems (RMIS) and consulted with upper management. Chaka proudly served her country in the United States Navy. After her first tour with Seal Team THREE, she knew she could conquer anything she set out to do. The Navy eventually brought Chaka to Jacksonville where she served at Helicopter Anti-Submarine Squadron SEVEN, then in Kings Bay, GA at Commander Submarine Group TEN. Chaka has multiple degrees in Business Management and Information Systems Security from Florida State College of Jacksonville and ITT Technical Institute respectively. Chaka enjoys giving back to her community. She served on the conference committee for the 2011 Florida Regional RIMS Conference and was the Web Master of the Northeast Florida Chapter of RIMS for 2 years. Chaka is also an active member of InfraGard, a Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) program that is dedicated to promoting information sharing between the public and private sectors regarding critical infrastructure protection issues. She has also been a member of the National Honor Technical Society since 2009 and was awarded Regency Centers\' Risk Management department 2012 STAR award.
