At o9 Solutions, I work as a DevOps Engineer on the Supply Chain and Demand Planning product platform within the Research and Development team. This platform provides companies with advanced tools for efficient supply chain planning, demand forecasting, and decision-making, leveraging analytics, AI, and big data technologies. My role focuses on ensuring the smooth operation of the cloud-based solution, with a particular emphasis on high availability, scalability, and automation.I manage system and network administration, overseeing platform deployments across AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud Platform (GCP). This involves deploying and managing microservices using Docker containers, enhancing the portability and efficiency of application deployment across different environments. I also monitor infrastructure health and performance using the ELK stack, enabling proactive issue detection and optimization.A key part of my work includes automating repetitive tasks using Python scripts, improving operational efficiency by handling log analysis, data extraction, and infrastructure monitoring. I also automate infrastructure provisioning using Terraform and Terragrunt, ensuring repeatable and scalable deployments across cloud environments. Additionally, I manage Kubernetes cluster configurations, deploying applications with Helm for versioned and templated deployments, and enabling auto-scaling for optimal resource use.I create and maintain Ansible playbooks to automate system configuration and deployment processes, reducing manual efforts. I also streamline CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, GitLab CI, and Helm, reducing deployment times by 30%. My work includes ensuring system security through AWS IAM policies and role-based access controls. I have also implemented real-time monitoring and alerting using Prometheus and Grafana, improving system reliability and reducing downtime by 20% through proactive incident management.
