Joined the external feed integration team as a Software engineer. My team integrates with third-party sports match feed providers for the Bet MGM USA platform. We manage the application which maps internal to external feed and the data consumed by the downstream system which allows users to place bets on the web, or mobile app. My responsibilities include:• Disambiguating the requirement with stakeholders and coming up with a high-level design• Converting the design document into a solution document with collaboration with the architect• Lead the implementation of the modules using Java, Spring Boot, Redis, Kafka, REST, Angular• Drive the development lifecycle to ensure time delivery.• Enhancing the quality of code and improving application performance, leading to a reduction in bugs.• Supporting the applications and working on fixing issues for the current running products.
