Job Experience: a) Research Experience: 1) Senior Research Fellow IIT Madras | Apr 2023 – Oct 2024 o Led efforts on the AMRflows UK-India project: antimicrobials and resistance (AMR) from manufacturing flows to people: joined-up experiments, mathematical modelling and risk analysis (https://more.bham.ac.uk/amrflows/our-team/). o Developed a large-scale 1D numerical river network model for the Adyar River basin, Chennai, utilizing the Maccromak explicit finite difference scheme to simulate river dynamics. o Conducted on-site river discharge measurements using advanced hydrological instruments, enhancing model accuracy and validation. 2) Junior Research Fellow IIT Madras | Apr 2021 – Mar 2023 o Contributed to the AMRflows UK-India project, integrating AMR-related research with river dynamics through experimental models (https://more.bham.ac.uk/amrflows/our-team/). o Specialized in the tight coupling of 1D large-scale river network models with AMR river dynamics models, bridging hydrology and public health research. o Conducted on-site river discharge measurements using state-of-the-art equipment to ensure high precision data collection. b) Academic Experience: 1) Assistant Professor Uka Tarsadia University | Sep 2017 – Aug 2019 o Supervised and mentored 10+ undergraduate students in various areas, including river hydraulics projects, improving outcomes through effective guidance and technical support. o Improved student project outcomes through mentoring, leading to 3 university-level awards.
