ABOUT CHAITANYA BARKATE

During his academic career, one of the most important things Chaitanya realized is the need of technology and management amalgamation. Working towards this goal, he has completed several courses based on innovation and business management. He has acheived his Master\'s in Engineering Management at USC along with a Graduate Certificate in Supply Chain & Optimization. Chaitanya has grown passionate and continues to learn about supply chains across various industries. He currently works at Factor_, a HelloFresh Ready to Eat brand contributing to its ever-challenging need to get fresh food delivered. Previously, he worked in the Medical Device industry at Boston Scientific Corporation where he worked in the Planning business units for Capital Equipment and Single Use Medical Devices. In Summer 22 he worked for another Medical Device company named Axonics Inc, touted as the fastest growing tech company by Deloitte, as a Product/Process Operations Intern which gave him the bandwidth of working in Supply Chains, Engineering, and Operations simultaneously. He previously also worked at Torrent Power Limited as a Graduate Engineer in the Fuel Handling & Ops Department, essentially handling the Coal Supply Chains. At Seed Consulting, he devoted his time to providing consulting services that help the world become a better place through sustainability projects. Striking a balance of practical knowledge with coursework, Chaitanya has completed several internships, has taken part in various events organized at his university along with starting a short-term venture in the food sector with his college mates. At USC, having excelled in academics, he also got the opportunity to serve as a Teaching Assistant for 3 out of 4 semesters for multiple courses: 1. Business Analytics2.
