   I first heard the terms PHP and IOP while talking with someone at a restaurant. That conversation—seemingly casual at the time—would end up changing the course of my life.Months later, I called that person back and told them I was ready to enter the recovery field. Why?Because while I’ve had the privilege of starting and growing several successful businesses, it was only when I started helping people at their lowest points that I found what the Japanese call “Ikigai”—a reason for being.That’s how Bold Steps was born.Today, we operate in Pennsylvania and New Hampshire, and we’re a team laser-focused on helping individuals reclaim their lives through our core values: • Ownership mentality • Treat people like a friend • Be authentic and humble • Embrace unrealistic dreamsEach person on our team has identified their own Ikigai—their deeper purpose—and lives it out daily in the work we do.Here’s mine:Helping people find their own unique purpose.
