ABOUT CHAHAT WALIA
I’m a sophomore at the University of Arizona pursuing a major in Finance with a minor in Computer Science. Originally from Northern India, I moved to the U.S. to pursue my undergraduate degree, where I’ve been able to combine my passion for finance with my technical foundation in computer science.I’ve had the opportunity to serve as a Teaching Assistant in Computer Science, where I honed my leadership and problem-solving skills, and I’m currently enrolled in advanced finance coursework. Beyond academics, I’ve been an active member of student organizations such as the AI Club and Women in Computer Science.What excites me most about investment banking is the chance to help companies navigate high-stakes decisions, from capital raising to M&A, while continuously learning in a fast-paced, collaborative environment. I also love building connections, sharing knowledge, and contributing to communities that prioritize growth and mentorship.Outside of academics, I enjoy experimenting with fusion cooking, cycling in the Arizona desert, and practicing yoga. These passions give me balance and creativity, which I carry into my professional life as well.
