I have helped clients address IT security and governance risks using the knowledge and best practice approaches from various circumstances, companies, industries, and varying technologies I have worked with through the years. I am driven by the satisfaction my clients are able to obtain when they combine my knowledge with their environment to tailor uniquely appropriate value-added solutions and experience-driven practices to address risks within their environments. My career began in 1995 with Big 4 accounting firms, where I was an external information technology auditor for five years. Over the ensuing 15 years, I was involved in IT security and governance risk management in a number of industries including: technology and tech manufacturing, aerospace, manufacturing, financial, and services. I also gained broad industry experience by running my own firm, specializing in Sarbanes Oxley, information privacy, PCI, HIPPA, and other regulatory compliance requirements. I would characterize my work as striving to develop value-added partnerships in all my interactions. My interactions are results driven with long-term benefits for a strong partnering relationship.
