This position is responsible for both the development and implementation of learning used to strengthen employee knowledge and their ability to meet the strategic needs of the organization. • Full P&L and management responsibility for the Talent Management Department • Management of in-house and outsourced subject matter experts that develop and deploy learning programs in an effective, comprehensive, and professional manner • Research and implementation of a Learning Management System (LMS) resulting in a reduction of travel for all subject matter experts • Coaches and consults employees at all levels of the organization on learning solutions for career development • Coordination of knowledge and skills gap analysis for each department throughout the organization • Designed adult learning road maps and curriculum used in onboarding, compliance, governance, job skills and business initiatives training. • Conception and implementation of the a comprehensive product training model for the Plastics Distribution Industry. Recognized with the IAPD Gold Level Circle of Champions Award for consecutive years • Administration of employee assessments that measure job and cultural/positional fit • Conceived, created, and implemented the Leadership Development Program /Succession Planning System that provides a path to management for high potential employees • Creation of a Sales Leadership Program that focuses on applying leadership competencies/coaching skills for those in a sales management role • Formation of the Diversity and Inclusion program with an emphasis on cultural awareness and includes relevant examples from within the organization • Analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation of eLearning projects • Development and execution of the Piedmont Plastics on-boarding system • Managed the team responsible for the development of an Internship and Management training program for recent graduates (RISE)
