As the Director of Environmental Health and Safety for Shoestring Valley Holdings, I lead safety strategy and cultural alignment across a diverse group of companies, including general contracting, steel fabrication, equipment services, and property management. My focus is on building systems that are enforceable, scalable, and rooted in field reality—without losing sight of people or culture.Over the past decade, I’ve helped transform Andersen Construction’s safety program into a nationally recognized model of proactive engagement, measurable improvement, and frontline empowerment. Now, I’m applying those lessons across all SVH entities—standardizing policies, driving innovation, and building a culture where clarity and accountability replace enforcement-heavy models.Safety isn’t a priority—it’s a value. That philosophy guides everything we do, from preconstruction planning to incident response to long-term cultural investment.
