About Chadley Hollas

I’m on a mission to show how tourism and hospitality can make communities more equitable, resilient, and prosperous.Through my consultancy, Cultivating Tourism, I partner with DMOs, regional associations, States, non-profits, and entrepreneurs to build strategies and programs that are people-first, place-conscious, and economically meaningful. Our work strengthens rural livelihoods and socio-ecological and food systems. My work spans development of and planning for tourism, cohort-based training, and applied research that translates evidence into practical tools for communities and those who might have a say in policy.Alongside my consulting, I am pursuing a PhD in Forestry and Natural Resources and Sustainable Tourism Management at the University of Georgia, where I study changing work and livelihoods amid tourism development. I also serve as founding secretary of the Global Agritourism Network and co-founded Delve Experiences, an agritourism booking platform connecting people with meaningful local experiences.
