Co-designed the fail-operational, secure E/E architecture concept for the SAE Level 4 Autonomous P4 Cascadia, which represents a new product introduction for 2027 and a groundbreaking advancement in class 8 vehicle transportation: Developed the autonomous class 8 vehicle architecture requirements to integrate a semi-intelligent, fail-operational base vehicle with a redundant Powernet system and virtual-driver robotics, operating strictly within ISO-26262 guidelines. The resultant design is an efficiently processing communication structure that enforces safe operation of each system and the full vehicle, even in the presence of dual, latent faults. Led a cross-functional engineering team in analyzing autonomous vehicle functionality across all systems. Conducted technical reviews to proactively identify bugs, resolve system communication misalignments, and optimize integration procedures. This 18-month initiative enhanced vehicle integration techniques and effectively mitigated critical issues before testing. Applied expertise in fail-safe systems, mode management, and dynamic ignition to deliver technical support and strategic guidance to a wide range of stakeholders, including colleagues, suppliers, developers, and leadership. Provided recommendations to leadership and technical compliance on solutions for addressing bugs and modifying vehicle functionality. Drafted the AP4 E-E Fail Operational Architecture & Vehicle Controls specifications to define the vehicle communication strategy for fail-safe functionality, dynamic ignition control, and vehicle mode management. Co-authored multiple specifications to optimize customer application of vehicle controls.

I am a passionate and driven \"Imagineer\" working in the automotive industry supporting the future of autonomous trucking for Daimler Trucks North America. My technical interests include math, data science, neural networks, and analyzing inherent patterns in random events. My hobbies are numerous, but nothing beats motocross.My high-tech career began at Phoenix Systems, Inc where I designed electrical panels and ladder logic programming for hydro-sulfuric acid reclamation/recycling systems. After graduating I moved into semiconductors and helped develop the most advanced microprocessors ever built on 22nm process technology.During my twelve years of progressive success at Intel I was instrumental in delivering solutions that ensured flawless qualification of products, increased market share and solidified unwavering customer loyalty worldwide. I held positions where I improved product qualification techniques, created new tools, performed analysis on critical issues threatening product launches, while training and mentoring the next generation of microprocessor manufacturing experts.In 2012 I took a long-shot by leaving industry to launch two start-up companies: Firefly8.com consulted to provide opportunities for personal & professional growth while F8Wear integrated wearable technology with extreme sports body armor. The knowledge and experience I gained during the two years provided me the confidence to do anything.In 2016 I graduated with my Master\'s in Science and began independently developing an application that uses competing algorithms to identify relationship in random occurrences based on localized phenomenon. The project is intended to create a foundation for advanced detection methods in nondeterministic event.In 2018 I migrated to developing truck technology, and in 2019 was fortunate to begin a dream working on autonomous vehicle E/E architecture. At present, development has taken a shift into high gear. It\'s amazing to be a part of the engineering team creating two unique autonomous trucks. What a ride it has been!
