As part of Auto’s strategic partnership with premium OEMs like Porsche and Audi, I’m currently assigned to the development and integration of advanced ECUs (HCP2 SV62 & CH63) in next-generation vehicle platforms. Key ResponsibilitiesLead Debugging Sessions: Conduct comprehensive debugging of ECU software issues directly in the vehicle or on bench setups. This includes identifying root causes, analyzing logs and trace files, and proposing software/hardware workarounds or fixes in coordination with internal development teams.OEM First-Level Support: Act as the primary technical contact for OEM engineers at Porsche and Audi, offering hands-on assistance for system validation, issue reproduction, and support during integration phases.Cross-Domain Coordination: Collaborate with multiple stakeholders including system architects, software engineers, and validation teams to address multi-layered system issues, ensuring hardware-software alignment across distributed components.Bus Communication Analysis: Perform in-depth analysis of in-vehicle network protocols (CAN, CAN-FD, UDS, SOME/IP), trace communication flow, and identify timing or configuration issues using tools such as CANoe, CANalyzer, and OEM-specific trace tools.Diagnostic Session Management: Support and analyze diagnostic communications between the vehicle tester tools and the ECUs, utilizing standards like UDS (ISO 14229) and OBD-II to verify compliance and performance.Support Release Validation: Participate in integration test campaigns, supporting validation of new software versions, capturing edge cases, and contributing to pre-release quality assessment. Impact & Value My role ensures robust and stable integration of complex ECU software into production-ready vehicles, playing a key part in maintaining Porsche and Audi\'s premium quality standards while accelerating the debugging turnaround during development and test phases.
