Through an expansive care network that includes United Surgical Partners International, Tenet operates 60 hospitals and operates or has an ownership interest in approximately 550 other healthcare facilities, including surgical hospitals, ambulatory surgery centers, imaging centers and other care sites and clinics. Tenet also operates Conifer Health Solutions, which provides revenue cycle management and value-based care services to hospitals, health systems, physician practices, employers and other clients. Prior to joining THC, I served as Assistant Corporate Secretary and Assistant Vice President - Senior Securities Counsel at AT & T Inc.(NYSE: T), a Fortune 10 diversified, global leader in telecommunications, media and entertainment, and technology. At AT & T, I advised the CEO, CFO, and other members of executive management on SEC reporting and securities law compliance and disclosure matters; oversaw the preparation of annual, quarterly and periodic SEC reports and proxy statements; and worked closely with company’s investor and media communication teams in connection with the preparation of press releases, earnings announcements and investor presentations.From 2012 through 2019, I served in various roles including Assistant Corporate Secretary and Lead Counsel, SEC Reporting & Compliance at Caterpillar Inc.(NYSE: CAT), a Fortune 100 company that is the world’s leading manufacturer of construction and mining equipment, diesel and natural gas engines, industrial gas turbines, and diesel-electric locomotives.Prior to joining CAT, I was in private practice as a Partner at the national law firm of Quarles & Brady LLP, focusing primarily on capital markets, securities regulation, M&A and other public company transactions.
