Currently the Director of Workforce Development at Lurleen B. Wallace Community College in Andalusia, Alabama. I look forward to knocking down silos and continuing to help create opportunities for students and communities! Helping to create opportunities that utilize developed skill that in turn create economic freedom for our students and community! Experiences for our all of our community members becomes a comprehensive workforce effort. Experiences including summer camps, k-12 hands on curriculum, WBL opportunities, Internships, pre apprenticeships, apprenticeships and customized training for business and industry. Thinking out of the Box! Broadening our vision of how our young people make decisions regarding career paths! Formerly the Director of Career Development at Garrett HS,where we developed a comprehensive program Grades 5-12 that focuses on skill development, integrated academics, related instruction, and internship / apprenticeship opportunities.
