About Chad Story

Chad has broad professional experience in both the private and public sectors. He has served as a senior Congressional advisor and staffer for two Members of Congress from West Virginia for nearly seven years. Due to his successful tenure working as a Congressional staffer, he was named Director, Senior Congressional District Leadership Learning & Development for the U.S. House of Representatives Chief Administrative Officer’s Coach Program, which was created to help Congressional staffers strengthen their everyday job skills in a Member’s office. Chad worked in a small elementary school teaching special education. As a community leader, he is heavily involved in politics in West Virginia, currently working on various campaigns on the local, state, and national levels. He was elected and served on a major political executive committee for four years, as well as elected to a county political executive committee. In the private sector, Chad worked as a Clinical Supervisor for a major human services company which provided services to hundreds of consumers in the mental health industry. As a community leader, he is a member of the Man Lions Club where he serves as Vice President and Disaster Relief Chairman. He served on the Board of Directors of Facing Hunger FoodBank in Huntington and currently serves as a board member for the Logan Child Advocacy Center. Because of his successful leadership portfolio, he was inducted into two leadership organizations in southern West Virginia, both organizations recognize young, emerging leaders.
