About Chad Tubbs
Technical Product Manager with over four years of experience in a growing robotics start up. Utilized a research-focused education in Cognitive Science, Human-Computer Interaction to kickstart my career as a field product analyst. Capitalized on my time in office to establish cross-department relationships and establish myself as a collaborative professional rooted in strong user empathy. Through proven successes augmenting user workflows, building customer relationships, and leading field-based team members, I transitioned to the Product Management team to continue my growth within the start up and within my career.Despite transitioning to Product Management a month before the pandemic ushered in remote-work mandates, I was able to successfully navigate a new role, new responsibilities, and new relationship dynamics within the start up. Within a year of joining the team, I was assigned as the Product lead for our flagship product/fleet. During the two years assigned to that product, we scaled up to eight unique robot products across five OEM partners, hit successful subscription renewal deadlines with multiple Fortune 50 companies, and managed over active robots across five continents. This included experience at all ends of the product lifecycle. From onboarding OEMs on how to build, sell, deploy, and support their own robots to managing scope, development, and release of feature-rich software releases in collaboration with engineering teams. From product launch collateral and release note documentation alongside marketing teams to additional language support and data privacy compliance to support international sales alongside legal teams. After nearly fours years developing the same product line across multiple roles, I expanded my skillset by transitioning toward a complimentary product offering focused on retail inventory analytics through multi-sensor data collection including computer vision.I am eager to continue growing my career experience through work environments that encourage interdisciplinary collaboration, strong user empathy, and extensive knowledge of the product\'s inner-workings.
