Whether delivering an airport capacity solution, redesigning a highway interchange to improve safety, renovating a building to improve comfort and energy efficiency, or implementing an in-house training seminar that allows our staff to grow personally and professionally, we take on the opportunity to make a difference passionately. We constantly challenge our people to innovate not just how we do things, but how we think.As President and Chairman, my role is to foster innovation, make MJ a great place to work and guide our strategic growth as we expand our footprint and capabilities. As a consultancy providing financial and aviation planning, site civil design, facilities, energy, highway, bridge, and environmental engineering as well as construction phase services for both private and public projects large and small, the opportunities for growth are unlimited. A bit about my background:With 7 years in the US Navy, I’ve had the opportunity to serve in numerous roles in air traffic control, airspace management and airport planning including FAA and DOD airspace liaison duties in numerous countries such as Malaysia, Thailand and Oman. As a aviation planner, areas of expertise include: aviation forecasting, economic analysis, business planning, and project management. To stay sharp and relevant, I continue to manage a handful statewide and airport specific planning projects. I received my MBA with a specialization in Aviation from Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University and have proudly served on numerous national, state and regional aviation committees and boards of directors including a role as Past-President of the New York Aviation Management Association and current Board Member of the American Association of Airport Executives. I have a strong bond with my community through volunteerism and civic activities. I enjoy assisting local aspiring entrepreneurs through interaction with our regional Pre-Seed Workshop and have my name somewhere in a giant book of patents for inventing the Airport Dynamic Analysis Tool and Process, which automates the aviation planning process. When I’m not traveling, I spend most of my time with family and in my spare time I teach as an Adjunct Professor at Binghamton University in the Scholar’s Program, participate in several local charities and committees within my community and love anything outdoors.
