ABOUT CHAD HADLER
Overall 26 years of operations, facilities and maintenance experience in the Oil & Gas, CoGeneration and Petrochemical industries. I am very enthusiastic and devoted to ensuring safe and efficient plant operations and processes. I am committed to precision, accuracy and risk-based decision making. My full life-cycle experience includes Pre-FEED (FEL 2), FEED (FEL 3), Detailed Engineering, Production Operations, Staff & Project Coordination, Instrumentation/Electrical Engineering, DCS Engineering, Facilities and Project Engineering, Process Engineering, DCS Programming, De-bottlenecking, Optimization, Commissioning/Start-up, Turnarounds, Construction, Instrument/Electrical Maintenance and Mothballing. I spent a large part of my career with Cenovus Energy (AEC/EnCana). For 14 years I was committed to their Oil Sands Division, leading innovation and playing an integral part in growing production from bbl/d to bbl/d, dating back to industry’s first SAGD pilot. I have comprehensive knowledge and understanding of the SAGD process, its interfaces and complexity. I also supported Cenovus’ Pelican Lake conventional asset, extracting oil using Enhanced Oil Recovery methods such as polymer injection. I then joined Integrated Thermal Solutions (iTS), a subsidiary company of Tundra, offering a turn-key, guaranteed price - Wellpad Manufactured Solution (WPMS) to the thermal heavy oil industry. The patented WPMS integrates reservoir, drilling, completion, facility, and operational goals into a game changing package resulting in significant cost reduction, exceptional schedule enhancement, uncompromised safety, and improved quality via manufacturing standardization. I understand that Oil & Gas Producers have unique challenges when it comes to accessing reservoir and maximizing their natural resource recovery. This entails placing equipment in undesirable locations, building pilot projects to prove new technology, operational optimization, late-life operations and process de-bottlenecking. My comprehensive experience has helped me in successfully overcoming these challenges, integrating lessons learned and passing my knowledge onto fellow teammates. I am committed to continuous improvement and growth, tend to think outside the box, and see opportunities to extend and enhance my knowledge.
