About Chad Conry

I Graduated from the Colorado School of Mines and started working for The RMH Group as a consulting electrical engineer. In 2008, I transitioned to the oil & gas industry as a Sales Engineer for Smith International where I provided technical sales support, market and financial analysis, and engineering support drill bits for the Rocky Mountain Region.I later joined the Smith Bits engineering team as a Product Engineer. In this role, my focus was on product development and continuous improvement for a variety of applications in the Rocky Mountains. I also continued to provide technical support to the sales team and focused on product development.I then moved into a technical sales role, responsible for growing revenue and market share, managing client relations, and working with teams to provide industry leading product and customer service to key customers in the Rocky Mountains.I am now working as the Operations Manager for Smith Bits in Alaska, based out of Anchorage, AK. I manage a small team of field and city sales staff that has been very successful growing revenues and market share despite the current economic challenges we\'re facing in the industry.
