Chad Collins, Founder & President of Legacy Search has over 27 years of experience working in professional and minor league team sports. Prior to starting Legacy Search, Collins was Director of Recruiting for Prodigy Search where he successfully recruited and filled numerous mid to senior-level roles with NBA, NHL, NFL, MLB, Milb, collegiate and minor league hockey teams. Chad understands first-hand the qualities necessary for individuals to succeed in the sports industry. During his career working in the front offices of the NBA, minor league hockey, minor league baseball and collegiate sports, Chad worked with close to 300 different executives and uses the insights gained to successfully recruit the right candidate for the right position. In his career, Chad has been in the trenches himself by managing and hiring winning sales teams, selling sponsorship and ticket packages and even shot t-shirts via slingshot into the crowd at minor league hockey games in his early days. Chad and his wife, Maurine, founded the Brian Ellis Memorial Foundation in 2003 in honor of a life-long friend who battled Cystic Fibrosis. The foundation supports Cystic Fibrosis research and funds an annual scholarship at the University of Idaho. Chad, a native of Vacaville, California, graduated from the University of Idaho with degrees in Public Communication and Recreation Management. He and Maurine have two children Molly and Ella and reside in Boise, ID.
