I’m Chad Burke, I have twenty-two years of experience in broadcast news. My career began in San Francisco and I also worked the Pittsburgh and Atlanta markets before moving to the Weather Channel and most recently Newsy. For the past year I’ve been with Newsy, I’ve created an Assignment Desk, workflows that have adapted to a quickly growing and changing network and managed a team of videographers based in Washington DC and Chicago. Some of the skills I’ve required are team management, national logistics planning for crews, gear and travel as well as purchasing and capital spend projects. Although my career is in Newsgathering my skills can apply to any business needing help with leadership, management and logistics. I’m a quick learner, resourceful and able to work under any deadline.
