Responsible for the general and administrative oversight of diversity initiatives and ethics for human research conducted at Memorial Health. Reports directly to the Vice President of Corporate Ethics.Proven ability to develop relationships and collaborate with colleagues of all levels within and outside of the organization.• Administratively support the Facility Healthcare Disparity, Diversity, and Inclusion Work Group and Clinical Ethical Biopits. Monitor and implement HCA Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion initiatives. • Support community partnerships and coalitions to foster health equity. Provide facility level data to the division liaison on Diversity and Inclusion. • Collaborate with the Corporate Ethics Officer, research and monitor key ethical and regulatory categories; participate in investigations, audits and data analytics; In-Service Training and Mentoring for Organizational Ethics.• Develop and implement educational programs for IRB members, clinical investigators, and research coordinators on the protection of human subjects in research, IRB standard operating procedures and policies, and related ethical issues. • Manage the facility Human Research Protection Program Institutional Review Board and the onboarding of new members• Configured and implemented customizable submission portal (IRB Manager) for researcher interface.
