Solving Problems with Creative Solutions-When you were a 3rd grader, who did you look to for answers about science? Parents, Teachers, or better yet, Bill Nye the Science Guy. My favorite TV show growing up, exploring various science topics in an understandable way. By far the best days in grade school when the TV rolled in and the opening song came on, it was a sing-a-long in class to start off another great episode. This is where my passion for science was cultivated. Science explains why the sky is blue, why trees change colors in the fall, and why the moon has a huge impact on the Earth.Scientific passion has driven all I have done throughout my life. I am always searching for an answer to any problem or question I come across. Such a focus on science led me to Milwaukee School of Engineering (MSOE) where I completed my Bachelor’s Degree in Biomolecular Engineering. Grueling classes and an atmosphere focused on scientific discovery and problem solving further developed skills required to become part of the scientific community. Exposure to laboratory practices, unit operations, and critical thinking has helped me become the individual I am today.A true student knows learning never stops and in order to be the best you can be, life-long learning is a must. This is the attitude I bring to the table, a desire to learn everything I can to become the greatest asset a company can have.Currently, working with Hydrite Chemical Company as a Technical Support and Development Chemist.
