About Christopher Grassi

Hello! My name is Christopher, I am a dedicated social worker with 10 years of professional experience in the field. I first came to the social work profession after my own encounter as a teenager with a social worker. I experienced the utmost compassion and empathy from a social worker and that encounter inspired me to become one myself.Throughout my career as a social worker I have worked as a service coordinator for the Pennsylvania state waiver programs, and served the same organization as a regional manager for service coordination. After my time there I transition to the Long term care realm where I served as a director of admissions and marketing and director of social services. I then transitioned to medical social work where I have served 2 years as a clinical social worker and then 3 years as the care management Team Lead. Most recently I have started as a director of case management and utilization management at a behavioral health inpatient hospital. I have background in discharge planning, bio psychosocial assessments, medical chart review, completing audits, trauma informed care, mental health advocacy, drug and alcohol, medical social work, long term care, case management, care management, and inpatient psych.
