Advises local health jurisdiction (LHJ) administrators, directors, and managers regarding interpretation, application, and accountability of Foundational Public Health Services (FPHS) funding. Trains LHJ staff, leaders, and non-LHJ professionals on FPHS at various events, or as requested.• Represents LHJs and WSALPHO on the FPHS support staff team. This small team collectively builds and drives the processes, engagement, collaboration and facilitation necessary for the Washington FPHS system to function. Some key personal ongoing contributions have included proposing and co-developing processes to establish and improve effectiveness, efficiency, ethics, transparency, and equity considerations. Collaborates closely with WSALPHO members (statewide LHJ employees and leaders) and staff, State Department of Health, American Indian Health Commission, and State Board of Health staff and leaders.• Facilitates discussion, collaboration, and consensus-building among executive-level public health professionals across the governmental public health system, tactfully navigating tensions and non-aligned priorities to help achieve concurrence decisions regarding the disposition of over $300M (biennial) in state public health funds.• Plans and runs meetings and events both alone and on a team, ranging from several health directors to over 200 public health professionals. Convenes and facilitates regional meetings of LHJ leaders several times annually. Has recommended and led implementation of internal WSALPHO ongoing quality improvement processes and initiatives, including workplace functions and a communications plan.• Facilitates, supports, and establishes community-of-practice and working advisory groups across various public health program areas. Interprets, advises, and leads efforts in these groups to implement and evaluate services or make recommendations to the FPHS Steering Committee.
