About Charles Fulco
As an Education & Outreach Coordinator at NASA/JPL Solar System Ambassadors, I have been working for many years to inspire and engage students, teachers, and the public with the wonders of space exploration and science. I design and deliver interactive presentations, workshops, and events that showcase NASA\'s missions, discoveries, and innovations, and that foster curiosity, creativity, and critical thinking. My current program is \"No Child Left Inside!\", designed to promote eclipse awareness with the goal of 100% of U.S. students experiencing the 2024 Total Solar Eclipse outdoors, not being kept indoors in their classrooms.With a Master of Arts in Teaching in Educational Technology and over 25 years of experience as a science teacher and educational consultant, I have developed and implemented effective instructional, testing, and assessment strategies that align with standards-based science education and that enhance student learning and performance. I have also received multiple honors and certifications for my outstanding work with diverse and special education populations, and for my contribution to environmental and sustainability projects. My mission is to share my passion and expertise for science and astronomy with diverse audiences, and to inspire the next generation of explorers and innovators.
