About Chris Noble

I lead corporate partnerships at CARE.org, where the team works to help more than 90 million people in 100 countries, every year. I also guide Matchfire in helping brands do good in the world. It all makes sense in here.NOTE: edited my linked-in bio to make it 50% less pompous. I know. But you should\'ve seen it before -)-Summary: With more than 20 years of experience running high tech startups and raising money for good causes, I\'ve built a career around identifying, championing, and executing new ideas. I\'ve gained broad experience in creating and launching new businesses, marketing campaigns, and products - including the ability to take existing products and chart new directions, or to start it all from scratch.Let\'s chat sometime at the whiteboard, or on either side of a bar napkin-I lead corporate partnerships at CARE.org, where our team works to help more than 90 million people in 100 countries every year. It\'s serious work that demands innovative solutions, turning corporate resources into real community impact. I also keep one foot in the entrepreneurial world, guiding Matchfire in helping brands figure out that whole \"do well and do good\" thing. My path here wasn\'t exactly linear. After bruising my ego (and the occasional shin) running political campaigns, I discovered I loved building teams but needed a different arena. That led to 20+ years in tech startups, where I learned how to take ideas from the back of a napkin and make them real. Along the way, I raised serious capital ($17M for one venture), built companies from scratch (sold some, crashed some), and eventually found my sweet spot: using business as a force for good.At Matchfire, we\'ve run over 1200 campaigns that raised more than $500M for charity by bringing together brands, celebrities, and nonprofits. Now at CARE, I\'m focused on fighting global poverty by investing in women and girls - because they\'re the architects of sustainable change.I\'m fortunate to share these experiences at venues like SXSW, TEDx and Blogworld, though my best insights still come from conversations at whiteboards or, yes, over those napkin sketches. I take the work of creating positive change seriously - myself, not so much. Let\'s talk about how we might build something meaningful together.Specialties: My strengths are in the following areas- Team Building - Corporate Strategy - Fund Raising - Product Development - Market Analysis - Deal Making and Negotiation - Strategic Marketing - Strategic Partnerships - Mergers & Acquisitions
