Christian is a practical strategist, skilled at building consensus across stakeholders to advance thoughtful, responsible policy.Prior to joining Cresco Labs, Christian served as Vice President of Public Affairs for New York City’s Economic Development Corporation, where he created and executed strategies to build public support for the city’s most important economic development projects, including CyberNYC (the city’s first public-private cybersecurity hub), the NYC Blockchain Center, and Brooklyn’s Made in New York Campus.He also served as Chief of Staff in Chicago’s City Council, working closely with Mayor Emanuel’s administration and city agencies, and overseeing some of the city’s most ambitious initiatives, including the Industrial Corridor Modernization Framework Plan, Lincoln Yards, and One Chicago Square.Christian was recognized for his achievements by the Bryce Harlow Foundation, where he is a two-time fellowship award winner and serves on the Alumni Advisory Board. He also serves on the boards of the Cannabis Business Association of Illinois (CBAI), the Pennsylvania Cannabis Coalition (PCC), the New York Medical Cannabis Industry Association (MCIA), the U.S. Cannabis Roundtable (USCR), and Every Last One Rescue.Originally from Washington, D.C, Christian is a graduate of The Ohio State University and Georgetown University.
