Good, fast or cheap, pick two”, says a cynical old adage, but it\'s not necessarily true. The truth is, there is seldom only one way to do things, and we live in a dynamic, innovative world. My passion is to lead, coach, scope, define, plan, analyze and execute process design and continuous improvement.My specialty is speaking both the language of science and the language of business. I can translate a Lean Six Sigma methodology (DMAIC, DFSS / DMADV) into a project plan. I can translate a tool (QFD, SPC, DOE, MSA) into a practical decision. I can translate a plan into action. I know when to pull up and when to dive deeper into root cause analysis. I enjoy teasing patterns and models out of ambiguity.I have led projects to improve customer experience, ensure data quality, create dashboards, implement process controls, reduce costs, increase revenue, and accelerate the process. I have trained Lean Six Sigma Green Belts,~100 Black Belts, and dozens of Master Black Belts in the practical application of Lean Six Sigma, resulting in >$100 million in increased revenue and expense savings. Training, coaching, and executing projects has taken me to 10 countries outside and 18 states inside the U.S. I’ve been a people manager and an individual contributor.My experience spans banking (Bank of America, MUFG Union Bank), tech (Cisco, Western Digital, Solectron), automotive (Porsche, Honda), and traditional manufacturing (Sport Court, Bishop-Wisecarver).
