Hello, and thank you for your interest in learning more about me! I am originally from the beautiful country of El Salvador. Growing up, I had the privilege to live in both the US and my native country. This has given me a wonderful level of exposure to rich culture and the uniquely diverse Latin-American communities in the US. It also prepared me to be highly fluent in both languages, English and Spanish, with the occasional \"Spanglish slang\" when possible with other bilinguals!(mi corazon smiles)Professionally, I have 20+ years of experience in US-based roles in Finance/Banking, Service Industry, Retail, and most recently in the Non-Profit space for local economy development focused on talent. My career has been blessed with a variety of leadership-level HR roles where I gained experience in supporting Onboarding Programs, Learning & Development, Performance Management, Change Management, Compliance and Regulations Management, People Planning, and Employee Relations Investigations. Facilitating synergies with the business and creating a mutually supportive environment with business leaders gives me the greatest sense of joy and fulfillment at work. I love my role at Experience Tulsa (formerly inTulsa Talent). As a Professional Development Program Manager, I enjoy elevating the local job market by connecting skilled professionals with a robust career development program that delivers meaningful workshops, networking events, and career-focused webinars (check out Elevate Your Career). Additionally, as a Community Engagement Manager, I truly enjoy being the bridge between inTulsa Talent and similar local entities to create a network effect of collaboration in the work we share and with the talent we collectively serve. One of my greatest accomplishments was obtaining my SHRM-CP credential in the Summer of 2024! This has been pivotal in solidifying my passion for HR work and my desire to continue to progressively grow in my career so that I can make a positive difference in people\'s livelihoods through career growth.
