Lead and responsible for the implementation and maintenance of a productive and effective labor relations program, which promotes long and short-term labor relations strategies. Serve as a critical subject matter expert in areas of negotiations, labor contract administration, advice and counseling to key business stakeholders, grievance/arbitration management, and possess strong knowledge of issues arising under the NLRA. Effective strategic planning and execution are critical to the success of this front-facing role. I lead the Labor Relations team of 4 to, HR People Strategists, HR Centers of Excellence, as well as a wide range of operations leaders covering union-represented employees. Key Accomplishments: • Develop and implement plans that promote positive employee relations by supporting HR professionals and people leaders in executing retention and engagement strategies; driving performance management; consistent policy application; fostering diversity, equity and inclusion awareness; reinvigorating culture; and driving other HR-related initiatives. • Provide guidance, direction, and coaching on addressing employee disputes, investigations, and maintaining a positive work environment; assess performance, provide feedback, and actively develop talent. • Build strong partnerships with management and union leadership through the resolution of employee grievances, contract negotiation, and contract interpretation. • Partner with Legal and subject matter experts to resolve employee and labor relations issues and facilitate training on employee relations topics. • Manage a team of Employee & Labor Relations professionals that work together, leveraging best practices and regional expertise.
