About Chibuikem S. Iheagwaram

Chibuikem Iheagwaram is a future physician🩺 originally from Nigeria who immigrated to the USA in 2021 for college where he majored in Biochemistry. After graduating college a year early in 2024, he applied to medical school while doing full-time clinical and research work in Boston. He began his medical education in the fall of 2025 at Yale.Chibuikem is also intrigued by scientific research because there is always something new to learn, discover, or change his mind about. His research interests currently revolve around neuroscience, cardiovascular medicine, and policy.Passionate about mentorship, innovation, advocacy and entrepreneurship; he loves to give back to his community. Greatness is within reach for everyone, and he wants to add value to and inspire people in his own little way. Chibuikem believes most of all, that we rise by lifting others.
