ABOUT CERIS VAN DE VYVER CSCI
With over 30 years of experience in the water industry, I have a strong background in environmental sciences, water quality, wastewater, and innovation development, and I have achieved Chartered Scientist and Chartered Environmentalist status and past Chair and Welsh Area Member of the Institute of Water.My mission is to enhance understanding and learning across the water industry and to support innovative and sustainable solutions for water and environmental challenges. I deliver the Introduction to UK Water Industry course on behalf of the Institute of Water, which is an excellent course for those new to the sector. I also have a passion for leadership, building successful teams, and shaping and delivering business change. I am an active mentor and coach, and I have a reputation as a strong people person. I was the Director of Scientific Services at WRc Group, where I led the strategy and delivery of scientific services and the National Centre for Environmental Toxicology (NCET). Today, as an independent consultant in the water industry, I work with several companies, including Panton McLeod a Stonbury company, supporting water companies to improve their drinking water quality.
