ABOUT CERASELA CRISTEI
Dr. Cristei has extensive experience in management, design and engineering of transportation and land development projects and is a registered Professional Engineer. Cerasela managed and performed work throughout Fairfax County, Prince William County, Culpeper County, City of Alexandria, Montgomery County, Prince George’s County and the District of Columbia. She was a member of the Dulles Transit Partners Team for over four years developing the Erosion and Sediment Control Plans and supporting the process of obtaining over 200 permits for the construction of the Dulles Corridor Metrorail Project. Dr. Cristei\'s dissertation title was Optimization Modeling for Urban Street Design which focused on balancing the needs of bicycle, pedestrian, and auto users of urban streets. As an Adjunct Professor she teaches the Capstone Course at George Mason University and is a member of the Advisory Board for the Civil and Infrastructure Engineering Department. She is recognized as an effective, motivational leader and a team player with excellent analytical, organizational, team building, and planning skills. Cerasela has been an active member of WTS-DC Chapter since 2014 and served as Professional Development Committee Chair.
