Duke Energy Renewables, an American renewable energy developer, recently supported its solar energy portfolio in the United States by acquiring Kruger Energy\'s Seville power generation project in California. Duke will acquire 20MW Seville I and 30MW Seville II power stations, bringing the company\'s California investment portfolio to six projects with a total installed capacity of over 100MW. The power generated by Seville I and related renewable energy credits will be sold to San Diego Gas and Power Company through a 20-year agreement. Duke Energy Renewables, a subsidiary of Duke Energy, recently acquired two 20MW photovoltaic projects in California from Infigen Energy, a renewable energy developer. Located in Cohen County near Bakersfield, these two projects, Pumpjack and Wildwood solar power projects, are ready for construction. When two facilities are completed, Duke Energy Renwatts will control over 65GW of solar energy in California. The solar power generated by these two projects will be sold to Southern California Edison through a twenty year Power Purchase Agreement (PPA)
