ABOUT KARAHAN
I\'m a business leader with an engineering foundation and a career built around scaling: teams, revenues, and customer relationships. Over 20 years in engineering services and high-tech manufacturing, I\'ve gone from project engineer to running a $100M P&L across the Americas. The common thread has been straightforward: clear objectives, the autonomy to go after them, and a bias toward execution over deliberation. I came to Averna as part of the Cal-Bay acquisition in 2014, the principal operator who stayed to build what became Averna\'s West Coast business. By building and leading the teams that made it possible, I grew it from $5M to $60M over the following decade, entirely organic, before taking on the broader Americas business. Over my tenure I\'ve driven more than $300M in cumulative new business into the organization, restructured teams across multiple sites, and pushed hard to move our customer relationships from transactional to genuinely strategic. I\'ve also been deep in M&A on both sides of the table. I was part of the core diligence team on the sell side of Averna\'s $230M acquisition by Spherea, one of the larger transactions in our industry, and I currently own the USA integration stream. Before that I participated in the diligence and later in integrating the USA-side of the GES acquisition, a $20M deal that expanded our West Coast profile and introduced an Asia presence into our corporate operations. I know what it takes to make acquisitions actually work. I do my best work in complex, high-growth environments where the stakes are real and the decisions matter. I move fast, make calls when they need to be made, and take full ownership of outcomes.
