As a music teacher at the Community School of Music and Arts, I provide personalized and engaging instruction for students of all ages, from children to adults, and all skill levels, from beginners to advanced musicians. My teaching focuses on fostering creativity, building technical skills, and encouraging students to explore their unique musical voices. My primary duties include- Teaching one-on-one and group lessons in cello, piano, violin, guitar, bass, percussion, and beatboxing, tailored to the skill level and goals of each student- Providing instruction in music production and digital audio workstations, with a focus on Ableton Live, to help students create and produce their own music- Developing customized lesson plans that incorporate music theory, technique, and performance skills, ensuring students build a strong foundation while also exploring their creative interests- Introducing students to live looping and beatboxing techniques, encouraging them to experiment with innovative ways to create and perform music- Mentoring students in composition and songwriting, guiding them through the process of creating original works- Preparing students for recitals, performances, and auditions, building their confidence and stage presence- Encouraging a lifelong love for music by cultivating a positive and supportive learning environment.I strive to inspire my students by blending traditional music instruction with contemporary techniques, helping them discover the joy of music and unlock their full creative potential.
