About Elle van Grinsven Potter

Elle (Van Grinsven) Potter is a Franklin, Wisconsin native and former Division I volleyball standout at Loyola University Chicago, where she was a four-year starter and helped lead the team to the conference finals as a senior. While at Loyola, she was actively involved in SAAC and CRU Bible Studies and gained international experience through sports ministry programs in California, the Czech Republic, Moldova, and Bulgaria. She graduated in 2021 with a degree in Public Relations & Advertising and a minor in Marketing.Following graduation, Elle began her career in social media marketing and recruiting with Northwestern Mutual before joining Student Athlete NIL (SANIL) in 2022. As West Region Client Success Manager, she supported 15 universities and their NIL collectives, while also playing a key role in organizing The NIL Summit in Atlanta in 2023 & 2024. After 2.5 years with SANIL, Elle transitioned into independent contract work, including leading social media strategy for Her Competitive Advantage until its close, and currently partners with a start-up in a contractor role.Elle’s background as a collegiate athlete and her professional experience in marketing, client success, and NIL strategy reflect her passion for empowering student-athletes and building strong partnerships in the sports industry.
