As the volunteering National Coordinator for Climate Live Zimbabwe, I lead and manage the country’s efforts to amplify youth voices in the climate justice movement through music-led activism and awareness events. This voluntary role involves: • Coordinating nationwide campaigns, programs, and events aligned with Climate Live’s global climate advocacy goals. Currently in the planning team for the COP15 #RamsarConvetion for Wetlands • Planning and executing awareness-raising events, including concerts, panel discussions, and community engagement initiatives. • Leading a team of volunteers and collaborators across Zimbabwe to mobilize young people and local stakeholders. • Acting as the representative for Climate Live Zimbabwe in global meetings and forums. • Contributing to strategic planning, communications, and partnership building.Though voluntary, this role has significantly strengthened my skills in event planning, program coordination, stakeholder engagement, youth mobilization, and cross-cultural collaboration.
