In this role I will enable NHS Greater Manchester Integrated Care to discharge its legal duty to involve and achieve a range of corporate objectives by enabling formal and informal conversations with service users and the wider public, especially those who are marginalised or disadvantaged. This position will involve me delivering a wide range of engagement work to bring the voices and experiences of local people into NHS decision making. For example, meeting people informally in clinical settings to seek their views, working with service users to support them to co-design services or running formal consultations around service change. The key things will be around breaking down complex ideas into simple language, listening, having an approachable and engaging manner and being able to multitask and be flexible. I will focus on the communities of Oldham and some work will work across Greater Manchester.
