ABOUT CELESTE AUBEE

Celeste is a lawyer that is passionate about work at the intersection of law and finance.She is skilled in various areas of law, having worked closely with General Counsel on M&A deals in an investor backed-startup where she managed an IP portfolio worth >£200m and conducted due diligence on the targets and companies that were being acquired. She is also highly competent in project management and legal due diligence, both skills she has honed during her legal career so far.Originally from Sierra Leone, the connection to Africa runs deep, Celeste has spent the past three years encouraging Africans in the diaspora to engage in African agribusiness as a means to curtail the looming food security crisis the continent is predicted to encounter. More recently, Celeste has been selected as one of 20 young women in Africa and the diaspora by the African Union as part of their Protege in Young Women Mentorship Program. This program was a high-impact pilot program conducted under The Permanent Observer Mission of the African Union to the United Nations in New York.As an individual Celeste loves people, she is curious about the world around her and is unstoppable. Her can-do attitude sets her apart, and she is dynamic. She is also highly ambitious and unafraid of taking risks.
