Growing up, I was told the sky’s the limit, but I always believed there was more beyond it. Aviation fascinated me, not just the science of flight but the way it connects people across borders and backgrounds. That same spirit of teamwork and discovery now fuels my passion for medicine. Medicine became personal through generations of neglect in my own family. Whether gravitating toward those in need or witnessing the impact of compassionate care, I realized early on that I wanted to make a difference. I want to meet people in their most vulnerable moments and use science to improve lives. Now, as a third-year Health Science student at The Ohio State University, I am driven by a desire to advance health equity and innovation for all. My ultimate goal is to pioneer space medicine by caring for astronauts in extreme environments while applying those advancements to improve health care for underserved communities here on Earth.
